This was interesting. As some of you know, I volunteer and work a few days a week at my church. Someone left a couple of action figures for me at my work area -- very nice of them.

They're a couple of Lanard STAR FORCE action figures, still on their original cards, and quite colorful they are.

Here's what I consider unusual about them. They're the current style of Lanard figure, designed along the same lines as their current CORPS figures.

I have NEVER seen these Star Force figures anywhere. They're very cool, wearing reasonably plausibly, slightly futuristic astronaut suits, in white, one with orange trim, one with blue. They comes with removable helmets, backpacks, and weapons.

Oh, yeah, the suits also GLOW IN THE DARK.

But honestly, I've never seen or heard of these anywhere. I've certainly seen the modern CORPS, but not these guys. Have any of you encountered them?

I have seen these guys from my trip to Lanard back in 2009 (or it might have been 2010).
I love their hemmets for customs. And one set had a space monkey, one of my favorite figures ever!

I snagged a bunch of these on SmallJoes when he clearanced them out a few years back. They look nice with the Crusader.

Trekker what you do is go to WalMart and buy some of the new figures to trade out for that one....a 2 for 1 would even work and ask if you bought two sets if you could take that one....

Yeah Smalljoes had a bunch of these a few years ago. And vehicles to go with them. I was tempted to get the Lunar Pod set but never pulled the trigger.

The shuttle is tiny, but kind of fun.

I'd love to find more of those heads (the blond and the dark haired guy). I use them for my Oktober Guard WIPs.

Okay, the ones I've got are the ones in the second picture -- at least the one with the blue trim. The other one I have has orange trim. There's one with what looks like yellow trim pictured on the back. How many are in that group, and were they ever at any retailer!?

That's where I got mine. Green, blue, orange, and yellow.

yeah I saw the space ships while overseas a few years back, but was hoardingthe Harry potter toys at the time ( no room in the suitcase)

My first Lanard action figure love was the Star Force pictured in MarkM's 3rd picture. Oddly enough it was because in the latter part of the Marvel GI Joe ARAH comic run the joes battled this group of robots on the moon that looked almost identical to one of the Lanard Star Force figures . it's like the used the Lanard figure as a model for what they wanted the enemy robots to look like.

The updated Star Force figures in futuristic astronaut suits were extremely tempting as well but i never pulled the trigger. They are really nice figures. Lanard rivals Chap Mei sometimes when it comes to sculpt.

Unfortunately, never heard of it.
