Okay guys, I need some advice: I have a TRU knock-off brand semi that works well enough for being Joe-scale. I'm leaning towards selling it, but I don't know if it would be worth my time selling it, since I don't know if there is a market for knock-off Joe stuff on eBay. The irony in all this is I held onto this thing all these years in the hopes we'd get something resembling a Laser-Core from the Weather Dominator and now that it's close to being a reality, I find myself wanting to de-clutter my collection a bit. I guess I'm trying to get a ball-park figure of what I should sell it for and go from there. Anyways, I've added a pic for reference, too.

and as for your question. As cluttered as my room is (1/3 is joe stuff) if it gives you joy, keep it. especially for the reasons you posted, we will be soon getting the weather Dominator,.. so keep it.

I'd say go ahead and make the custom you've been waiting to do. Then, if you decide you don't need it sell it. At least you can scratch that itch .

That looks like the Chap Mei truck. I have a red fire department one of those that is not made by Chap Mei, it had an Apache helicopter on the trailer. I have also recently seen a bunch of dark green ones. The non-Chap Mei copies seem to have plastic that is very different to the usual Chap Mei stuff.

Did your truck come with a tank and other accessories, that might be the Chap Mei one.

The custom that somebody should build by using this truck is the big transport that JCVD and Dolph had in Universal Solder.

I have that same truck & trailer, it's freakin cool, but only good for small vehiceles, i say keep it, if you decide to let it go, give it to meeee !

Hell yeah, that truck is cash. I'd keep it. It looks a lot like the HETTs we used to haul tanks and brads on, If you've got any of the bravo team brads, that would be perfect. I'd use it for that, until the weather dominator bitz arrive.

As a "TRU knock-off brand", I doubt it would fetch all that much if you wanted to sell it. And it's pretty cool-looking. My recommendation, which seems to coincide with most of the others, is keep it. It doesn't look like it's THAT big, and with a little time, you'll be able to do that Weather Dominator custom you've been keeping it around for. My vote -- Keep it!

The Weather Dominator is coming out in the new Cartoon pks in the future. They were shown at ToyFair.

I sold mine a while back for about $12 as I recall. Yeah, it's a knockoff brand but there is nothing else out there like it and it is a decent item. If he sold it, he would get a decent amount for it.

Well, you all convinced to hold onto this thing for a bit longer. I'll wait til the Weather Dominator bits start shipping and go from there. It's really not a bad truck, but it's the length that makes it such a space hogger. Ah...joecustoms - where you go to for the really hard answers in life
