Like Sputnik, Daniel Craig is the Bond of choice for my EXCAL verse (though finding a perfect young Connery head could put that to the test). He's never been a part of the organization itself, but has been a part of a few side stories. It has long been my goal to make this corner of my world a little bigger, though I know it won't go to the depth that the Sputnik-Bond verse has gone. Also, it should be noted that I make no effort at all towards screen-accuracy with him. I only want figures that clearly could be 007.

All I have new today is an extra situational figure to use for Bond. This is something between an LBC/spare parts brigade/Recycle project, as the base figure was once upon a time a surfer version of Rock and Roll for me. Once I updated that character, however, I had very little use for this body.

Since I only have 2 of the Daniel Craig Golden Compass heads, (and because the Torpedo neck is ridiculous) I swapped SEv54's neck onto this body, so that I can share the single head - situationally between this and the commando Bond I made awhile back (hence me calling it an "accessory". I then touched up the flesh paint to give him less of a tan, and here's what I have so far:

Here is the only pic of the commando version I could find quickly:

And, an older suited look (sans tie):

Since I might try to keep any future Bond pics here, I'll add reference to my old Vesper Lynd figure:

And also add again how my Storm Wind figure from the last Kumite can serve as a dead ringer for an updated Vesper:

Very nice.
That head is great to turn almost any modern figure into Bond.

Nice! Interchangeable heads is the way to go. It's funny, I just started compiling new parts to redo my wetsuit 007 because it wasn't screen accurate enough (Thunderball)

yeah, I wasn't going screen accurate, but the fact that I was cleaning out some bins (and found this particular body) the same night I too was watching Thunderball was the epiphony I needed.

And yes, I've really become a big fan of multiple bodies/outfits for key characters, and I do everything I can to make them similarly sized and with swappable heads as well. Here, it works because I have a limited number of those heads. But even when I have a full compliment of heads (like with Knighthawk) it lets me create different looks for the heads as well, so that for any one shot, I can have whichever combination of outfits/looks to fit whatever purpose I want.

I did the same thing with my Lance Sputnik customs, since I didn't have 40 of that Will Turner head. I've got a normal head, a sunglasses head, and a hair pulled back/short hair head. And I guess now, a bald wig head... ;)

Digging the Bond iterations.

Been looking for a Dan Craig head for more than a year so I could do something similar.

SW Sigel Dare head
Arms are a mix of Ms. Marvel and a Tron figure
Legs, I believe are a mix of Ms. Marvel and ROC Baroness
Main body is a Japanese PVC statue I cut up and articulated.

Maybe you could get Bindy to send one of the heads to Nova or one of the other casters to cast the head for you and Bindy's other outfits for Bond...

Cool outfits and figures though Bindy.
