I know better than to show up at his house or even make threats beyond reporting legal claims. But if I do have to go to the cops it'll be in person, they might take the complaint better if I do that than by phone.
Its PETTY theft... probably even less than $20. Cops won't worry about that. They'll tell you to go home and quit wasting your time... I really HATE saying that its spilled milk to them and they'll tell you to take it up with him personally and if he wont' respond then your out of luck unfortunately.
Basically you'd be wasting gas to drive there. The guys a dirt bag and we all know it.. throw it under the rug and continue one and maybe put the addy into your pm box from yourself that reminds you NEVER to deal with someone at that address....
Though still wonder how he can get mail with so many names at the same mail box........
I tried sending something to Spectre's step-son and it came back cause he "didn't" live there supposedly... just cause his name wasn't in the box etc.
Actually you're wrong. Crime is still crime. And this is internet fraud perpetuated against multiple victims over the span of years. A single small bad transaction may not raise an eyebrow but a collective group of victims and the dollar amount goes up. Crossing state lines and using the internet raises the stakes as well as there are Federal laws that address this. For those reasons I reported the incidents to his internet provider, filed a report with the Milford police department, filed a complaint with the IC3, the Federal agency that is in charge of internet fraud crimes.
http://www.ic3.gov/about/default.aspxSo if there is anyone else who has had Ben Reilly or Arnold Toht leave you hanging on a trade or sale, now is the time to come forward so your names can be added to the list for the reports and complaints. Hopefully you will finally get what you are owed.
