That looks really cool. The helmet has the retro feel to it as well as a touch of S6. Nice job. Let me know if you're casting the helmet. I'd be down for a couple of those!

Don't know if he still is or not but he had em under viewtopic.php?f=21&t=253 as casting em.

I do like these styles of helmets as well.

You know, I've always really disliked the look of the original Viper. But you really made this figure pop! It's just perfect all the way around - not just the helmet, but the torso, the whole package. You've taken what I consider a goofy looking character and made it respectable - awesome job!

Yeah that's pretty much perfect.

I still love that helmet. And the body is icing.

WOW.. that is a really nice looking figure. I like everything about him and the resculpted torso looks great as does the helmet,He looks like he's factory made and ready to be sold to the masses.
I think he's one of you better figures in all actuality,
Tim

You did a good job of getting all of the Viper elements in there without copying it exactly. I might have used a darker blue because right now it looks mor elike Cobra Commander as a Viper. I'd buy it.

I really like this figure. It manages to be original while maintaining the classic Viper feel.

Thanks for the comments on my Cobra Viper!! Glad it's going over well!

When I initially advertised these helmets for sale, I was using Alumilite casting products and decided I didnt want to sell the helmets in that quality. I mean, if your gonna buy a custom piece you'd expect it to be production quality making the purchase satisfying and your item more enjoyable. The manner I was casting them in required dremeling, after the plastic cured, to be fitted for a randomly selected head. That was toooo much work! I was consuming alotta time, and felt the buyer should not be responsible for doing it themselves.....Then I tried two piece molds to shape the inside of the helmet. That worked out good, but I was still using Alumilite. So I started looking for better products and realized how expensive casting can be !!(hobby rapist)!! . To make a long story short.....before I spend that kind of money, there's still alot about casting I need to learn!
