As I was looking for new Pursuit of Cobra last night at walmart, I noticed that Lanard had released some new corps to thier teams. Including a new Shinobi squad (ninjas) Rain,Mirage and Decoder, They look neat, decent enough that I picked them up for my sons, a new Flying Force member called Spade who looks like a nick fury wannabe, and a new member of covert Command team code named Bolder. These all were included in the new Corps 10 figure collector set at walmart. The cost for it was 12.00, I only hope that this means that they'll release some more new vehicle sets. So start hunting guys.

I had mentioned this in another thread the other day and was going to put up a shot. I never got around to it, so I figure I'll put it here. I haven't opened mine up though since right now I have no place to put them individually.

There are some nice figure in there I think. I've come to like these new cartoonish looking style Lanard is doing. Much better cartoon style than the upcoming G.I.Joe cartoon. yeah, I gotta take a jab every chance I get hehe.

Oh and one otherthing, some of the guns have tabs on the side now too. You can store the weapon in the hole on the back to look like they have it strapped. Plus that tab makes for an easy way to get a CORPS! guy to double hand a weapon.

Not bad. These guys aren't really fully compatible with ANY version of G.I. Joe anymore, but they have their own sort of coolness. I may have to watch for these.

j_man thanks for posting pics (I couldn't locate my sd card) Our store didn't have any new vehicles, but I just went to the corps website and they have pics on new battle kits. and a new villian tank. (The tank looks like it's just a repaint from an earlier release), but the battle kit looks all new! (look under vehicles) here's the link.

I still want about 2 of those jets from the site. I haven't ever seen them in store. It also looks like a new outpost set might be coming from watching the intro video.

Yeah I've come to like these. I had been only getting the figures to customize, but I pretty well get them for what they are now. They're a decent sub-line to collect and they're cheap. Anytime I get extras though I throw them in with the fodder. One day I need to clean that fodder pile though...

That Red tank has been there for almost 2 yrs now. It was there before the KC Joe con. That Sky Raptor I'd buy a BUNCH of if it EVER gets released. But their t-crotched legs and such just have no place in my joe verse.

They'd look fine if you cut the neck off and hollow out and area to pop the head ont he post. These figures have the the old style Star Wars side to side swivel with a neck post. But yeah customizing them isn't an issue at all. I've done a few Lanard heads and really some of them make for nice looking new characters.

That tank screams Red Shadows to me. The small vehicles do nothing for me.
