I'd take a new Whale as long as it had room for a Vamp and Wolverine back to back .... at least it'd be a little cargo space....
And second the C-130 as well... large enough to hold a Awe Striker, Persuader, and Snow Cat as seen in the comics.....

Reading some of these, I'm wondering. Would people be willing to take a "Joe-Scaled" version of some of these? Most of all something like the C-130. I could see them making one of these and even add to the play by having it open up into a base. It would probably end up very squished looking and probably with in the size of the movie Pit playset. The wings and tail would probably be where it's most noticed.

Most of the items in my wishlist are anime/manga influenced:

- 1:18 Mospeada Cyclone
- 1:18 Robotech/Macross VF-1J fighters: Rick Hunter and Max Sterling variants
- 1:18 Akira motorcycle

And I want a 1:18 Transformer of some sort. I'd even take robot-mode only versions of Bumblebee or Cliffjumper, just to have something robot-related to display. I'd love to have the Optimus Prime/HISS Tank, but I know that's never gonna happen :-/

10) Mono Wheel Motorcycle (perfect for a new Dreadnok)

There was a mono wheel cycle in roughly Joe scale released with the Mattel Speed Racer movie line. It's probably a little small, but I think it's useable. Also, there's a new, smaller, version of General Grievous' wheelbike coming, so that might work too.

I personally would love to see some vehicles from Shirow's work. I think there's a roughly in scale Fuchikoma (out of my price range) but stuff like the Landmates from Appleseed (the comic designs)
Image

or Bonaparte from Dominion

http://www.gearsonline.net/designers/bonapart.jpg

would be cool.

Not a whole lot of specific stuff I'm after though. If there were toylines for a ton of properties, I might have more, but as just vehicles on their own, meh.

Dang, I totally forgot that I bought some Appleseed figs from Suncoast back-in-the-day and they were very close to 1:18 scale. I gotta go dig them up and see if I still got them :-D

Hot Toys made a Landmate based on the Ex Machina movie.
Goodsmile made a tachikoma with Motoko in diecast metal.
There were some Robotech/Mospeda Cyclones recently, but they may have been 1:15 scale.
Given how much all of them cost, I'll never get them

I'd love to see a Robotech/Mospeda Alpha Fighter.

well the chap mei chinook copter could be slightly elongates and wings added.. and it would fit the bill..

a Joe scales Aliens dropship would be about the size of the General

To do a top 5, (and as long as it's pipe dream time):

5. Tachikoma in a price range I'll ever be able to afford.
4. 1/18th mecha from Patlabor, VOTOMS, Heavy Gears that can take figures, in a price range I can afford.
3. Transformable Cyclone Armors from Mospeada that are actually armor that can be moved from figure to figure.
2. The Actual Cobra transport Chopper from the comic.
1. A new Mauler. With POC level detail and still motorized.

They did make a Star Blazers playset for 3-3/4" figures. The consoles light up when you operate the controls and plays recordings of the characters in Japanese, the chairs move and it comes with some reversable cardboard inserts for the large display screen. The figures were sold separately and came in capsule packaging. The IQ-9 is a windup toy, not from the line. I paid $150 for this back in the '90s at an auction from It's A Small World. Looking back this was a good deal, as I have not seen it since.

You realize you've just committed yourself to a full seperate thread of pics of everything, right? I had no idea there was a Star Blazers line, much less a playset.

Sure, when I have a spare moment. I have to find the box though.

I suppose I will just be quiet about my Madelman 2050 Basetron playset and vehicles then. ;-)
