You also have to wonder at how many people have actually contacted the Club with their info as requested. I can imagine a lot of people just being pissed off, cancelling their cards and writing off the Club without so much as a "screw you very much" thrown in the Clubs direction. That might have something to do with the "low number" mentioned. They can't report what hasn't been reported to them.

Possible, but when they finally acknowledged the issue there was a list on Hisstank and TF boards that had like 250 names that had tried to tell the club something wasn't right, I know several of them were just brushed off and told it wasn't Fun pub/MC/whatver they keep calling themselves anymore. That'll probably hurt them more than anything IMO. Those peeps were angry (rightfully so IMO) that the clubs just sat on the info and did nothing to check thier systems. Add to the fact they were just flat out rude to those who tried to tell them.

I am willing to bet though that of those people, several of them said "Screw you very much" (Just judging from what I have read those names saying about the club) and probably didn't re-inform them (as what was the point). So in a round about way that could explain the "low number" remark as the club never kept track (i am betting with the way thier dismissive actions were).

I didn't report my unauthorized charges / cancelled CC until I saw this statement from Hasbro.

Got hit today, though it was unauthorized and my bank caught it. Btw, it was an online purchase through BestBuy.
I had the bank issue new cards and numbers, and I've changed passwords that I thought were important.

I sincerely hope all of you report any hits against your card to not only GIJCC but also to Hasbro through Hunter PR. I don't think anyone knows how deep the rabbit hole goes at this point.

I'd definitely go through :hasbro: as it sounds like Fan Club Pub is definitely LYING about how many people have been hit... Facebook don't show ANYONE thats been hit so therefore all POSITIVE support but reading over on HissTank there's a LOT of people pissed about it so don't think its all positive as Brian likes to say it is...also since they delete ANY bad comments.....

At this point, I think anyone who has done business with the Club SHOULD contact their credit card company and tell them that others have had issues with the Club and security.

Be proactive and make sure your company knows there is already the possibility of problems, so that the card company will know ahead of time.

I've missed that information. Where is it?

as I stated..I was hit by 2 small charges.."test charges" as they are called. They were stopped immediately. I may not have lost a ton of cash but the whole process of changing every thing i have to this card costs time and money. A class action suit will be fair for those who got it caught before big damage was done while giving them piece of mind.

THIS is exactly what I did. Fool me once... I'm not going to give them more time and more personal information for them to lose that too.

I got hit by the 2 charges of $1 tonight. I've reported it to the credit card and working on the next step now. Sucks. I'll have to hope and pray now that when I switch cards that Matty doesn't screw me since they're so amazing with people switching out cards that were originally used on a sub.
