See, Family Dollar would be a WHOLE lot easier for me. I can think of about one Dollar General in this town and I don't even recall where it is (never mind the likely problems of getting to it without a car).
I am SERIOUSLY interested in these, as well. Duke's about the only one I'm not especially excited about, and I could do with about three of the Cobra Troopers.
If these figures start getting a little easier to find, perhaps some deals could be arranged?
For someone who said he HATED and wasn't going to collect the 25th styled figures you've changed your tune.
I have very few of the actual 25th
Anniversary figures. Really only those that represented entirely new characters, such as the Para-Viper or Matt Trakker. And a few BATs. I will always have room for BATs. And I will still ALWAYS regard the original Real American Hero as the superior product. However, if I am going to remain involved in the current G.I. Joe world, I have to accept the current product. So be it.
In and of themselves, they're not bad figures. I just don't regard them as superior.
As for these particular figures, I find a certain amusing irony in the fact that while the standard retailers seem to be in a "holding pattern" awaiting the movie product later this month, these very distinctive figures are hitting discount-type stores like Dollar General.
