Walgreens Joe's BOGO 50% Off Sale

I wouldn't trust that store checker. I used it and the two local stores that were listed as "in stock" said they don't even carry G.I. Joe figures at all.

They don't have a "back" or stock room.

Every store carries the same thing. If they say they don't even carry Joes then they were either lying or had no idea.

Someone on Hisstank said they asked some staff at a Walgreens if there was more stock and they told him they could order more from the warehouse. Worth exploring if your store is stuck. He said each store can have up to six in stock. That sounds about right. The one near me maxed out at six last Christmas time, but then wound up with a big pile of shelfwarmers. I helped empty some stock out, but they got down to two figures and have stuck there.

I just read over at HT, that Walgreens will also issue rainchecks for the sale(which ends Saturday), if your local stores have empty pegs.

I went to two stores last evening and only got a cobra trooper and City Cobra Commander (good base body) the third store I know of has two Heavy Assault IGs and a renagdaes duke.

Two Walgreens yet to check today

Couldn't pass up on $5.40 Joe's for todays 50% off sale and the sale combines the current BOGO 50% off sale. First figure rings up at $5, second figures rings up at $2.50 :-D

Store closest to me has 6 figures on its peg and the rest all have 2. Saw a Techno Viper but that was it.

But the other figure they had was the Renegade Scarlett

Sale is on again until 12/8, picked up another POC Hawk & Cobra Trooper. Also store fliers have a coupon that knocks all toys $9.99 down to $4.99 that some were able to combine with the BOGO sale and some couldn't. May be useful for stores that only have 1 figure on the pegs. Mortal Kombat figures are also BOGO half off.

Yeah- one of the WG's on the way home has the whole Hawk/Jungle BAT wave- the tags aren't marked, but one of the workers confirmed the BOGO is in effect.
