Seem like its been awhile since we had an active one of these, and Christmas is comins so...
The new toysrus big book showed up, and there is a $50 off coupon for the Star Wars MTT -which still makes it $129
the Avengers Helicarrier is $20 off at $59.99
The Batman Battle at the bank playset is $39.99
the true heroes C130 is $29.99*
etc. etc
looks like I'll be getting the bank and helicarrier(wish I hadn't already bought a Batpod)
I haven't seen any good clearance anywhere in awhile.

And TRU wonders why they still have financial troubles. They are playing shell games on an already expensive item that will only be bought by collectors who know what the price should be.

Also the prices go into effect on the 28th.

I also noticed in the TRU animal sets is a new Chap Mei Dino Compond playset. The picture is small, but it looks pretty neat.

Just found it on the website Dino Rescure Research Center

There is alot of cool and useful parts. Really liking the look of some of the figures.

TRU has CEOs now that were CEOs of KB Toys. Think back to KB sales and look at what TRU is doing. Even the layouts are the same. There's good deals to be had but you have to watch it.

Revive this for the current clearances going on. I hit Wal-Mart yesterday and saw a lot of markdowns. Anything Avengers. I got the Quinjet for $14.50. It'll become a Cobra jet. I saw the helicarrier for $31. Most are seeing it for higher. They had those 8 pack of Star Wars figures for $12.50. figures were marked at $5. Spiderman, Star Wars, and various other stuff was marked down. All Star Wars vehicles were $14.50.

I want to use that Quinjet for a Cobra repaint but I can't think of a reason Cobra would use it. It has no armament and the cargo only holds 1 figure. It's either use it to transport a zombie or monster, or just a single paratrooper deployment. I can add guns and such to make it work for an attack vehicle.

Sounds like it could work as Storm Shadow's personal transport then?
