It only took about 2 years on ebay, but one of my low bids on an unopened 25th Comic Pack Crimson Twins finally worked out. Got them for $30.50 and that price includes shipping. Not too bad considering they usually go for about $50 before shipping.

I guess there are a lot of people like me out there, that during that time frame when they came out were either in school full time and working with no spare time or money, or perhaps were not paying attention and when they had kids got back into toys, also me to a certain degree.

I wish I was paying attention when they were at Big Lots, but I know one thing, those Crimson Twins are now in high demand. Sometimes, they go for about $40 unopened as a buy it now option depending on the seller, that's including shipping, but I really didn't want to pay more than $30, so it took a long time and a lot of bids.

for what it's worth, I put up a bunch of auctions, and I allowed for international bidding on all of them. Actually listed free shipping domestically, but I usually include some amount for overseas bids. 70% of my listings were won by overseas buyers, and a few items that went really really high were bid on exclusively by international buyers. Shipping overseas can be a hassle, but if you think about the stuff we had readily available here that wasn't available there, it makes a little sense.

Now, for this pack, it was a little weird, in that I already had plenty of the figures themselves loose from an ebay seller for cheap, but yeah...

Yes, they did, and I got probably 4 or 5 packs there for cheap that all went to custom fodder. If they're going for that much now, I'm kicking myself.
