Looks great, but I don't find myself that excited over it. Was this one of the highlights of the RAH era? Does it have any distinguishing features? I want to like this, and it looks great, but I think I would rather have seen a Dragonfly reissue with stiffer blades instead.

Yep definitely one of the classics from the RAH era. It was really the only transport chopper the Joes had. And given the rising importance of helos to Spec Ops in the 80s/90s/beyond, I think it's become even more classic as the years went by.

I have to say Hasbro has re-released so many of the RAH classics - Sky Striker, Rattler, Tomahawk, Vamp, Hiss, Mobat, Dragonfly, Trouble Bubble, Conquest, etc. There are a few left which are really needed in my mind — Night Raven and Whale. This Tomahawk gives me hope we could see them.

I finally found this at TRU and picked it up. Awesome, awesome piece. My brother used to have one and I loved it, but I have no idea what happened to it. This thing is just simply cool.

My one complaint? It's been together for less than 24 hours and the blades are already drooping. Lame.

On the ground, it's actually pretty common for real helos to have their blades droop. See e.g.:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:UH-60_Black_Hawk_da_FAB.jpg . It's once they spin the rotors at high rpm that they straighten out, which should be the case on the Tomahawk as well, if you can keep 'em spinning that long :-P

Hey marylanders, tru on reisterstown road in owings mills has several eaglehawks in stock. I just grabbed one. Too pricey to get two since i have a complete vintage already. Hope they go on sale someday.

Found mine at TRU on sunday and love it. While the original has a couple aspects that are better, this new release is worth every penny. The folding blades and new guns are a huge improvement.

Color me interested.

Can we just copy the coupon from someone or is it a one time thing? :shifty:

have no idea cause I printed it off... was a one time thing of course.. Tried to find a coupon on google to use and had a link to that game to EARN coupons... made the Tomahawk $39.46 instead of $46.43 after taxes and only took about an hr to play the game to earn that coupon and then you can keep earning coupons from the game if you keep playing...but the store I went to made me mad with their run around that I don't want any more coupons so don't have to go in that store again...

I got mine in the mail.

These feels, this is a really good remake, I especially like how it's easy to disassemble for putting back in the box.

Lift-Tick is perfection too, that Flight Helmet is beautiful.

Sweet! Just got mine at TRU in Columbus, OH (the last one they had at the Groves Road location)... I am at work now, so haven't gotten the chance to open it yet.

Heading to Michigan next week to pick up my boys. Hoping to find one of these at TRU along the way. Best thing about roadtrips is all the toy hunting.

Does Lift Ticket have a file card or did I just not get one in my box?
