No offense, but a person in a support call center most likely wasn't given that information. And certainly not to give out to customers. If the lawsuit were truly an issue the club wouldn't be selling them at all.

Yeah, I cant seem to wrap my head around how the club can sell but Hasbro toy shop cant? If all sales were suspended pending the lawsuit, it should not matter who is selling them or how they choose to sell them. Something is not adding up for me here.

Did the club buy them from hasbro or are they selling them for them. I ask that because I would think if they bought them they can do whatever they want with them. It would be like if I bought a dozen sets and wanted to sell them in my mythical store I don't see how anyone could tell me I couldn't. I'm not sure on the legal status on which the club is based or how it is classified (I don't know d&@k about business law), but I'm sure if they did buy them they can do what they want with them. Idk, maybe I'm talking out my ass. I really thought about trying to get a set before this news broke. I like the sky striker but just couldn't make a descision on whether to buy it or not. Once I heard the news about the lawsuit I started to think "if this goes thru this will be a hard exclusive to get." But afterwards I figured that short of these limited numbers the club has and maybe a limited additional sets, most of these were probably sold already, thus negating the rarity of them. Once again I may be speaking with a mouth reminiscent to a human anus, if so please forgive and try to purge my rambling from your minds.

Zephyr, I'm not sure either. I tend to think that Hasbro would be required to pull back all sales they possibly could, if the lawsuit had teeth, but like you, my anus is typing this.

Hopefully the club gets to go ahead with their plan. From the posts I've seen people really like this set and any chance to get one would be great.

I'm sure the GIJCC would have sent out an email if they were informed by Hasbro they couldn't sell.......

Oh, wait, this is the GIJCC we're talking about, who knows for sure, if you want a shot at getting one you might as well email them, it's free, one of the few free things they offer.

Yeah I think the club is a 3rd party, so chances are they already had bought an allocated amount from Hasbro long before all of this. Who knows for sure, definitely none of us. I would guess however that Hasbro probably still had stock with intention to sell yesterday, but even if they are legally right, they legally couldn't sell yesterday. We may still see their stock on the site eventually.

I didn't see any exclusives listed on HST.

I did find a code McDCrew2013 for 10% off, valid through 8/31...

you weren't looking at the right times then.... it was posted in the SDCC thread that things were up for sale... I even saw them...
