I don't know if these have shown up in American Walmarts (Walmart.com showed no results for them) but Walmarts in Canada have been stocking on new military and ninja vehicles for their Kid Connection brand, that work incredibly well with Joes.

I've seen the military copter, police playset and ninja boat at my local Walmart thus far. They're all really cool but I'm saving my funds for Retaliation Wave 3.5 so I had to pass them on. If I ever see that ninja copter, though, hello new FANG!

I didn't see those sets, but I did see that knockoff firebat that was at Target a few years ago as well as a tank set and copter set in desert colors at a few Walmarts, $15 per set.

Huh, so it is! Now I feel embarassed for not recognizing it.

I found the Ninja Copter so I bought a pair to use as modernized FANGs. They're largely based on the Chap Mei copter that came with the Rocket Hauler but there's some detail differences on the sides and tail (for one, it adds a nonfunctioning tail rotor to the design).

It's possible the ninja boat is similarly based on a Chap Mei vehicle but with differences.

Given the 5$ price tag... the figure is garbage but the copter itself is decently sturdy. Not enough that I'd get one for a kid, but it'll definitely hold up to collector use. The ends of the landing skids are a bit flimsy but the plastic has some give so if pressure is applied they'll bend rather than come close to snapping.



Not very useful. I haven't seen it but a friend in Eastern Canada has, and he tells me the figures are 5".

The police copter set are items made by Wing Sang (IIRC), been around for years, like a cheaper version of Chap-Me, often making similar products. The ninja stuff might be Wing Sang, too.

I didn't see any of those sets at my local Wal-Mart - maybe they haven't hit the U.S. yet? However, I did see that the police playset has now been redecoed as a fire playset.

I'm glad to see this released again. Paint it black and it makes a good upgrade to the Fang. The front end kind of looks serpentine as well so it really fits Cobra.
