With the lack of action figures at retail lately, I've been dabbling in Lego's new Nexo Knights line, which is an awesome mix of Classic Space and Classic Castle. Got two of the character packs (the demon woman and the red knight) and the library set so far.

I am not into the larger sizes but I agree, with the slim pickings I may have to start looking into the different sizes when I catch them on sale on Amazon or at the flea markets.

Got an Eagles Edge 3 pack at TRU in Vegas for $15 (hawk, leatherneck, destro)
Not sure if I am keeping the LNK after I scored a 2-pack version.

They also had the 50th Sky striker and hiss tank for clearance at $50 WITHOUT the figs. Somebody probably returned it like that.

I've been using a retractable heavy duty box cutter for every cutting task since I started making customs. it was what I had in my tool bag the other night I decided to buy a xacto type cutter. my wife looked @ Walmart and said they had a $20 3 knife set, but didn't pick it up.

a quick ebay search and not only did I find thousands of xacto sets, I saw some cool vintage handled knives. I had decided to pull the trigger on a 3 knife set for $10, but in a cruel twist of the universe someone literally bought it seconds before I hit BIN! heartbroken, since it was the light, medium, and aluminum heavy duty set and that was what I now NEEDED for my world to be correct, I restarted my search.

I spent twice the price, but ended up with the 4 knife set. the plastic handled one is the wood carver I think I know they are old and a bit rusty on the blades. I really like how the feel in my hand. especially the heavy duty aluminum handle.
