This guy made custom Joes and Cobra miniatures to play wargames.
Enjoy.

Great looking dioarama / game board.

The line between static miniatures and poseable figures has been blurred because of figures like Mega Construx COD and Diaclone. I'd love to see this same setup with mega construx figures.

Yup, Jabberwock's vehicles are great on a small scale. He did a good job with them.

The smaller you print them, the better they look (that's not being mean about it, that's what he says, too and how he designed them). They look okay with MegaConstrux guys, but printed out for Dianauts, they'd be great. I've only done the Mega size with them so far, but may have to try Dianaut size.

NM. I see they are multipart.

Any pictures of the Mega sized prints?

*this reminds me that i need to get back to printing

This is the only one I have pics of right now that I can find. The paint job is a rush and a bit sloppy, but it displays well enough:

Front gun doesn't move and missles aren't removable, but that's fine for my purposes.

Thank you . That works. The file will print with better resolution with an SLS i assume but even if it didn't that is more than enough of a starting point to customize (printed conveniently at home).

*starting to feel some motivation again

Actually, some of the roughness is the design itself. I think he built it by layering rectangles or something. I say that because most of the things from him I've printed out have that sort of blocky design aspect, while other people's designs are a lot smoother. But he does state the optimal size for printing the things out, and when I've printed them at those sizes, they've looked great.

I wonder how small these can be printed? I have a project idea that would involve these being about half the size of a Micro Machine. Could these be printed that small? Could anyone here print them for me?

I don't know if you'd be able to go that small with them. You'd also run into issues with having to glue together the various pieces for the multi-part ones. For example, on the FANG, the main body is one piece, the struts/runners with missiles are another piece, and the main rotor is another. At half the size of a MM, you'd have some difficulty gluing them together. You'd also lose a lot of detail shrinking down that small, possibly winding up with a vaguely vehicle-shaped blob.

This was my attempt to do the SNAKE armor in various sizes:

Here is that smallest one painted up:

As you can see, he looks like he was made out of mashed potatoes or something. At the size, he works for me, but only just.
