But then they would have to NOT want the figure for you to be able to get the fig. They can't buy you one there and keep one for themselves. ;-)

Doesn't a carded variety one get put up for auction on ebay after the show? Or am I remembering wrong?

That was a Canadian Joe Meet 5th Anniversary figure. It was Black Ice - with red highlights instead of blue - limited to one.

After the Joe Meet, a figure is posted on ebay - #30 to be exact. The last one.

This year, I'm changing that to avoid people buying the figure and posting it hours later.

I'm going to post Snowbank on ebay 1 week before the event. It should "sell" the night before - OR the night of the meet. Not sure yet, but I have plenty of time to decide.

A cardback has been made for all the Joe Meet figures thusfar - Snowbank will have one as well..... hopefully. They were available on JoeCanuck.com - I own a set, Stealth owns a set, and a few others own a set (or some)

In Canada?

The Candian flag was all over the Joe vehicles.

Yep, I've got an '83 HQ that came from a guy in Canada - Canadian flags all over the place and Red, Black, & Blue stripes on the GI Joe logo.

I hate it when 'foreigners' take a uniquely American experience and try to make it their own......:chiefty:

:P - see you guys in April!

You guys might want to run those through some hot soapy water before playing with them too much given where they'll be dropping from.

Well, Hamilton is about 2 1/2 hours drive from my parents, so I am trying to go this year.

Do I have to sign up, or do I just show up at the door, or what?

You guys up North know that I love you -- just ask Raptor - he can cite specific examples of all the "love" I've deposited up there...... :shifty:

Eh, a welt is a welt regardless of whether Chief has a great or mediocre ass.
