I think these are kind of neat. If Hasbro made a Snake Eyes v2 I'd probably bite. Anyone else?

I think GI Joe might Muggs would be a complete and utter failure...maybe I could see them being sold as a specality item...but no way do I think they'd make it in mass market

If it's not a 3 3/4" action figure or related product...the fan market diminishes extremely fast.

in general I'm not a big fan of anything like them...same goes for those cubey blocky mini mate things...Glactic Hero's type thing might work...but again I know I'm not gonna be buying.

Whoops. Somehow I put this in the wrong topic. I meant to drop it in general convo.

Nova: It's weird to see them at Target. They make more sense at comic stores or as a specialty item. I think you're right that a full line of GI Joe themed muggs would probably shelf-warm pretty horribly at the big guys.

I can barely believe the SW and Marvel Muggs are selling. Joe ones would die faster than TF Titanium.

That is one Joe product I'd stay away from as well. I don't like the Mighty Muggs in general. :-(

I have a hard time that people buy them at all. They are just a goofy looking version of the same characters that have been made in various forms time and time again. I thought the Galactic Heroes line was cool because they were made for young children but they had a style to them that collectors would want. Mighty Muggs are just big, round objects with paint on them to make the characters. But there is a lot of stupid stuff out there that is usually reserved for specialty places such as Entertainment Earth. I never saw them going past a place like that. How retail stores were convinced to carry these things I will never understand.

I was bought the Fett one as a gift. and I have to say that I enjoy it! At first my thoughts were "WTF IS THIS CRAP?" .

Then I opened it... and just kinda enjoyed it!

It blends well into my "Fett-Case".

Mighty Muggs...no. However, if they ever want to provide me with the opportunity to buy a Cobra Commander bobble-head, I'd be all for that.
