I too used the Fridge as Big Lobb. I knew nothing about the Fridge at the time.

The only Fridge figure I own is used in JCW as P-luv, a General Manager who bosses people around and used to own a snack shack, and used to wrestle till Ultimate Warrior ended his career(not by injury).

I look at GIJoe toyline as trumping everything else. If you got a figure in the toyline, you are apart of the team.

Fridge is a celebrity member of GIJoe, helped out with training, but not much beyond that. I just don't put him on the level of Sgt. Slaughter, who I view as doing more to promote GIJoe than Fridge ever did.

I think the fact that Sgt. Slaughter really was a marine drill sergeant and weirdly, his connection with the Renegades helps him with his credibility and via versa with them.

I look at GIJoe as timeless characters. I don’t care if Sgt. Slaughter is fat and old in real life, to me, with Gijoe, he exists at a certain point in time, in his prime as a military man.
