Put me in the minority, but no.

Nemisis Enforcer I like and think he needed to be redone (Note he barely ever said a word making him cooler). But would be released so no incentive there.

Royal Guard isn't even a second thought to me, I have one in my whacky figure platoon.

Which leaves Golobulous, or as I like to call him Mr Hanky. In all seriousness I am not to keen on Globy even if they improve him to the point he has that floaty ball thing and comes out with a snake lower half, I flat don't like him.

Now I will admit I would break down and buy a multi pack ofr Pythona (who would probably replace Royal Guard) but I would crumble about having to buy a figure I had and one I didn't want the whole way.

I'd love to see them! A multipack of the primary characters plus a well-done Royal Guard on single card would surely lead to my army-building $7 figures. 8-O

I always thought Cobra La characters were more popular on their own than together.

I think the popularity goes in this order: Pythona, Nemesis Enforcer, Royal Guard, finally Golobulous.

Pythona and Nemesis Enforcer have the best designs and are easier for people not into the Cobra La concept to incorporate into their Joe verses. Golobulous, you’re kind of stuck with him being a shadowy snake lord controlling things from afar.

Royal Guard needs their capes.

Golobulous would be the toughest for Hasbro to make because the only way I see people being interested in him is if he has his flight pod and again, he's the least popular of Cobra La.

Am I the only one who thought Pythona was totally into Serpentor in the Movie?

I would even rather have yet more of those, than the atrocity that is Cobra-La. But other than the peg-warming and Falcon figure swapping that the Nemesis pack is going to be (you lovers are truly a vocal minority!) I don't mind that they are making a Nemesis pack too much. The larger NE figures will go better with the rest of the classic figs for the people that do like Cobra-La (all 5 of ya!), and I do hope they get around to a Pythona to fill the empty hole that all of those guys have had for years. I won't get them, but I can appreciate filling the hole in the collections of the guys that do want them. I just don't want to see Hasbro invest (waste) money in molds for all of these stinkers, when good, or at least better, characters can be made.

If they re-release the Cobra-La line then we need it to be a 5 pack!

Globy
Pythona
NE
Royal Guard x2

That is the pack!

Then we could get another specialty group of Joes in 5 pack... Say, hmm Tiger Force or some such.

No. I like the nemisis enforcer beccause I see a use for him outside of Cobra-La. I'd like a pythona figure but again I see a use for a female mercenary outside fo Cobra-La. Cobra-La as a concept is lame. Besides the movie the concept has never been used by anyone who has had the license for hte property.

More importantly, the Cobra-La concept is so hated by even the most hardcore fans, that a comic pack or TRU exclsuive pack would be a sure fire peg warmer. I want Hasbro to continue their momentum with GI Joe giving us stuff that sells forcing retailers to buy more to stock their shelves. Asking for a Cobra-La pack of any kind right now would be a step in the wrong direction. However, I could see a 3pack as an exclusive of some kind. This is exactly the type of thing that given a limited run and the collectability of having to hunt it down, would make it very popular even to people who wouldn't normally care for it.

I'd love to see a DVD pack. Pythona, Golobulus (with pod), Blind Roadblock with Snake Cobra Commander and a Half Snake-Cobra Commander. Royal Guard should be single packed for army builders.

We all said the same thing about the Red Ninja pack (with Snake Eyes v∞+1) but their not exactly collecting dust.

No they shouldn't. I totally hate the whole movie and don't really like the cartoon series. Two whole seperate universes for me. But Pythona would be interesting to see but not the others.

You know Pythona's gotta be in the Movie pack, right?

I would buy up an army builder pack of Cobra La's. What about Globulus flight pod vs. BET?!

I'd buy all that stuff and I hate Cobra LA!

Yes, yes, a thousand times, yes. Haters be damned. Cobra La guards, Nemesis, Pythona, Golobulus, his pod, Cobra-La Cobra Commander, big giant bugs, you name it. Cobra La everything. Duke? Flint? Snake Eyes? Storm Shadow? Make them all Cobra La members. And ninjas, except the ones who are already ninjas, in which case make them robots. And pack them with giant water-squirting guns.

my sarcasm meter is registering.

Why is everyone so sure it'd be a complete flop? I don't remember the 87 pack warming at ALL. It was the hot toy that year.

You guys are basing your opinion on a very vocal group of online fans that hates Cobra-La and the movie. That's not representative of casual fans by and large. Many people I've talked to remember the movie fondly. I honestly think if you could somehow poll all the people buying 25th figures (Not just us internet nerds), these guys would be wanted by a majority. Joe blow off the street doesn't care that hardcore Joefans don't like Golobulus. He remembers GI Joe the Movie and wants the snake-guys that were in it.

I can understand not liking Cobra-La and not wanting them to be released, but I can't see where you guys are coming from with the idea that a Cobra-La pack would cause :dotl:

You are obviously forgetting the "Everything Hasbro does that I ("I" being absolutely anyone) don't like equals the death of the line." rule.

this in fact should be sent to hasbro, wether or not it would get made is up to them, but if we really want it, then lets show support.

So with that being said, i ask "BEAV" could you submit this to Hasbro, please. :-D

Just imagine how cool they would be with 25th. Anny articulation, new look, new sculpts and new packaging, it's just awesome IMHO and i think so far the majority does to, also how would you like the "Slaughters Renegades" 3 pk. re-introduced with 25th. Anny compliments ?
