This rugged police force of sorts is in charge of patrolling and monitoring any actions that take place along the volatile Cobra-AmeriCORPS border. Some sections of the Area Guard are stationed in the shakier cities in Cobra territory to act as a riot control.

The Cobra Scouts are the eyes and ears of the infamous Stormtroopers. The Scouts keep track of numerous hotpoints along the border and within cities and do their best to keep aggravators subdued, but when situations fly out of control, they contact the Stormtroopers to come in and disperse the crowd by all means necessary.

Cobra uses its Scouts primarily to keep a watchful eye on the border. The Scouts have been responsible for decimating numerous AmeriCORPS scout teams on the border and preventing enemy invasions where no Cobra teams where located for defense. Cobra knows that the day and night effort of the Scouts is the only thing keeping the border from erupting into a massive, full-scale warzone.
